I am legitimately unnerved by how similar my game is to yours! I encountered this game while perusing the New Media Writing Prize archives (because I was considering submitting this year), and it’s genuinely remarkable how similar the two games are in concept and execution. I mean, like, see for yourself.
All of which is to say I think this is very, very neat and yet more evidence that perhaps great minds do think alike :)
I loved it all, the characters, the artstyle, the atmosphere, all the cool details
it feels so real, I really wanted to get to know these people so it hurt to keep hitting the edges and worrying that everything would collapse even more if I kept doing it
and now I'm thinking about memory and my own data and GHOSTS, seriously this is such a haunting ghost story
Oh, gosh - this was such a lovely comment to receive! Thank you SO much, this is exactly the experience I was aiming for and I am extremely glad it spoke to you.
Ok, I really liked this actually. A bit like Emily is missing, but also it's own thing. I got an interesting ending one playthrough, then played differently and basically couldn't get an ending (tho it was worth it cause i went through way more of the content) are there multiple endings? how many, if so?
Thank you so much for commenting, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! There is only one ending, although dialogue along the way will indeed change based on your choices. I would like to release an expanded version at some point that will likely have multiple endings, though.
that would be really cool! loved the inclusion of academic material and of course what you've done with the photos. looking forward to see a full version, and your future work in general!
